Our client is seeking an Outside Sales Associate for its Floral Design Services. The company is rapidly growing is committed to providing its floral clients with products and services which reflect extraordinary quality. The company is located in the West Loop of Chicago.
The successful candidate will be dedicated to providing superior service by approaching each client interaction with the spirit of developing a long-term relationship.
This is a mid level to upper level opportunity for the individual who has a deep knowledge of flowers, floral design as well as retail. This is not your typical customer service position! This dynamic, creative outside sales position is responsible for providing design consultation and excellent service to our clients. As a critical member of the sales team, you will assist clients with product selection, answering questions and fulfilling specific requests. We look for candidates with a high level of energy, who can work independently, are self-motivating and who will thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment that provides support, resources, and rewards for excellence and achievement.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent service to customers in Chicago Metropolitan Area
- Assist clients with product selection
- Work with designer to develop floral/plant product samples
- Follow-up with clients as applicable
- Responsible for accurate product pricing
- Resolve customer concerns
Candidate Attributes:
- Experience in high-end service and/or retail industries
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to efficiently and professionally meet client needs
- Professional or personal experience in floriculture, horticulture, and/or design
- High level of enthusiasm and self-motivation
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Flexible work schedule required including weekend and holiday availability
- Peak business periods will require extended work days and work weeks (generally 12-14 hour days, 7-9 successive work days)
